Hi Mom
I don’t know what to say, just I love you Mom and miss you so much. Not a second goes by that your not on my mind, at work or when we’re all together to help Dad through this time.
I know you would want us to keep going not to stop and just be sad.
I know your with Grandma and Grandpa Phillips in heaven and even holding the baby we lost and he or she is calling you Grandma.
We have been getting together with all the family having BBQ’s on the weekends to help Dad and to be there for support to show him how much love they and we all have for him and you.
20 years ago God gave me a miracle he gave you great health and beat the cancer, I am so thankful for all the time we had together for you to be able to see all your grand kids grow up and even start there own family’s. I am so proud of all my boy’s as I know you are.
I love you Mom and will see you again
This Bible verse and poem I read at Mom’s celebration of life.
She Shall be Praised
Proverbs 31:25-31
She is strong and respected and not afraid of the future.
She speaks with a gentle wisdom.
She is always busy and looks after her family’s needs.
Her children show their appreciation, and her husband praises her.
He says, Many women are good wives, but you are the best of them all.
Charm is deceptive and beauty disappears, but a woman who honors the Lord should be praised.
Give her credit for all she does. She deserves the respect of everyone.
My Mother My Angel
Kathy J Parenteau
Once upon a time an angel held my hand,
She wiped away my tears and helped me understand.
Our time on earth is brief, there’s lessons to be learned,
Each precious day God gives us another page is turned.
Every chapter full of memories, times of joy and tears,
Triumphs and defeats, through every passing year.
She loved us unconditional, always by our side,
When no one else would listen, in her we could confide.
With gentle words of wisdom she led us on our way,
Down the paths of righteousness if ever we did stray.
She saw the light in everyone and gave with no regrets,
Always from her heart let’s us not forget.
Angels come in many forms, for me it is my mother,
With love I cannot say in words there’ll never be another.
Every day I turn the page in my heart will ever remain,
Everything she taught me as I stroll down memory lane.
Thank you God for giving me the most priceless of all treasures,
Help my Lord to keep alive her memory here forever.
I pray that I can some day be everything she hoped I would,
That’s she smiling down from heaven knowing she did good.
As we gather here today there’s no ending to her story,
Another chapter has begun full of grace and glory.
Gods called her to his heavenly home, part of his great plan,
Although it may be hard, we all must understand.
Faith is what is hoped for, things we cannot see,
Heaven is promised to all of us if only we believe.
Love You Mom
